Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.6)
OS: Linux

When you create a contact group either with kmail "Save List" or with kaddressbook "new Group" the resulting group always has 0 member whan you come back to it.
I am using "Default Address Book" format "file resource settings" vcard. Other options:Binary, KDE repository account.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
create contact list either with kmail "save list" or kaddressbook "new Group".
check list later either with kmail or kaddressbook. list will be empty.

Actual Results:
0 member of list. and empty list.

Expected Results:
Should remember data I put in.

Works for me with KDEPIM 4.6.

This appears to work since 4.6. Please reopen if you still have problems using KDE 4.6 or newer.
