Description Dimitrios Glentadakis 2011-03-06 07:40:40 UTC
Version: 4.4.10
OS: Linux

When i click on a calendar (a file .ics) and i have the kontact open, it opens the todo list module in kontact and nothing happens. If i quit kontact and i click on the file .ics (in the internet) it opens the todo module but with an import dialog this time so i can import the calendar.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
import a .ics calendar by opening url of .ics with korganizer and kontact already open

Actual Results:
opens korganizer module without the import dialog

Expected Results:
opens the korganizer module with th import dialog as this happens when kontact is closed

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37.2-desktop-1.mga
Compiler: gcc

This bug it is nt reproducable in other user with the same installation

I was a little misspoken in my description, i will clarify this:

- With a new user i have the same behaviour
- I communicated the problem in the mailing list of my distribution (mageia) and another user does nt have this problem.
Comment 2 Dimitrios Glentadakis 2011-09-02 21:41:08 UTC
still reproducable in kde 4.6.5
To test it you can pic a ics file here:

http://mageia.org/en/calendar/

http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/ojiv9mbtj8nt248dcjsfn6n664@group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

and try with kontact opened and without kontact opened

* If kde pim support is stopped, we can close this as unmaintained ?

Works as expected with kontact > 4.7.

Clicking on a ics link from comment #2 opens the import dialog in kontact
