Description satyris 2011-03-05 12:43:37 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

My local eMailserver has a selfsigned certifacate for SSL-Connection.
So when kmail tries to connect with IMAPS to my eMailserver it opens a Dialog:

Server authentification with --> details, continue, cancel

If i choose continue --> permanent, only for this session

there is no difference between this two points, because this procedure is always the same (comes again).
This is since the update from KDE 4.5.5 to 4.6

In the past (KDE4.5.5) it was only questioned once (first time) and then saved when i clicked "permanent".

Hope that my english translation from german dialogs is correct.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Kmail/kontact
2. Kmail connect to my local emailserver (IMAPS)
3. Error about server authentification selfsigned certificate
4. choose continue
5. choose permanent
6. close Kmail/kontact
7. goto 1

Actual Results:
Same result every time. No permanent saving from my selfsigned certificate/decission

Expected Results:
no questioning again about my selfsigned certificate
