Same happens for bare SFTP connections, independently of calendars. Reproduce^W In my case it happens usually like this: # Open SFTP connection that needs credentials # Enter credentials # Allow wallet to store the credentials # On the remote server "timeout" the connection or wait a couple of hours until the credentials become invalid # try to get onto that server again -- bang, kwallet does not kick in, but SFTP asks for the password I'm using KDE 4.4.5 on Debian GNU/Linux stable. I doubt I remember correctly, but if I do, the issue was there in KDE 3.5.x already. (I doubt my memory of it because I don't remember it as that annoying as it feels now.) Still unresolved in KDE 4.8.4. If you tell korganizer to recheck a web based calendar (http://.*ics) which needs authentication everey 30 minutes, then you are asked your kwallet master password twice an hour. This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
