Description Robin Green 2011-02-27 13:42:05 UTC
Version: 1.13.6 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

A To-Do created in Kontact from a KMail email does not link back to the original email the To-Do was created from, so you have to search for the email in KMail.

Sometimes there is a binary attachment in the To-Do, but if I try to open it, KMail gives the error message "Not an email".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
0. Open Kontact and click on Mail
1. Click on an email
2. Press the "Create To-Do" button

Actual Results:
A brief summary of the original email is entered into the To-Do, but not the body of the email, and there's no way to go directly back to the email in KMail.

Expected Results:
A way to get back to the original email in one click.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-0.rc5.git7.1.fc15.x86_64
Compiler: gcc

Fixed in kdepim 4.6 thanks to Akonadi.

When creating a todo after right clicking on a message, you can either link or attach the message to the todo event.
