Description Christopher Yeleighton 2011-02-25 18:53:07 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

Per RFC 2046 and later, the term "MIME type" is obsolete.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Ask System settings what a file type is.

Actual Results:
  1. "File types are also described as MIME types," etc.

Expected Results:
  2. "File types are also described as media types," etc.
Replace mail-specific terminology with URL resource terminology.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop
Compiler: gcc

Note: HTML 4.01 specification prefers to talk about "Content types"; however, this deviation is not appropriate because devices do not necessarily have content.

2023, that would be cool, yes :)
