Version:           4.6 (using KDE 4.6.0) 
OS:                Linux

The KDE file open and save dialogs have a history.  However, if you save something then open the dialog again in the same application, the history is lost.  It would be very useful if these dialogs recovered their history each time they were opened within the same application.

Works fine for me with KDE Frameworks 5.45!
