For a modern File Manager like, Dolphin, absence of an option to send selected file / files by E-mail is a sore need.

Thanks for the report. Such kind of service-actions must be provided by the applications themselves and are used by Dolphin/Konqueror. I've reassigned this to KMail.

I already added this feature in kmail-2
So we can close it.
We can't add to kmail1 feature freeze.
