For aide I refer to autocompletion. This is actually something that had been implemented in Dolphin. However, a proper generic query editor with auto completion would be great. That is also why there is a GSOC project idea[1] which I hope we can get realized for KDE 4.7. I must filled a bug in Dolphin so this could be solved in first KDE 4.6 revision or this will not be solved until KDE 4.7 release? I've reassigned this to Dolphin now. However I'd really appreciate if we could wait until we have a clean solution for this in Nepomuk by the GSOC project (hopefully): The autocompletion in Dolphin was very hacky and not maintainable in the longterm. This means that this bug will stay open at least until 4.7 :-/ Any update regarding this issue? There does not seem to be auto-completion. Also, maybe this should be considered a feature request instead of a bug? (even if the feature was there) (In reply to comment #5) > Any update regarding this issue? There does not seem to be auto-completion. I have no information about how the GSoC turned out, maybe Sebastian can provide some info about that? > Also, maybe this should be considered a feature request instead of a bug? Yes, agreed. |
