Doing an initial setup of KMyMoney on Windows 7 64-bit.  Created 3 accounts, Checking, Savings, and Credit Card and gave them opening balances.  On both the Home screen and the Institutions screen, the Net Worth is displayed as a sum of the three accounts, rather than the sum of the asset accounts (checking + saving) minus the liability account (credit card).  On the Institutions screen, the values of the asset accounts show as positive numbers while the value of the credit card account appears as a negative, which I would think is correct, but the program is summing them all as positive numbers.

In case the numbers for your credit card show up as negative on the institutions page, this is the problem. Please check, that any spendings on the credit card show up in the column called 'Charge' and not under 'Payments'.

You can easily adjust that by editing each transaction and negating the amount value.
