Removed all .kde* files to check whether it was any previous corruption, loaded all KDE files available in the repository, it still crashes. Additionally, there is no system tray, no panel; system works otherwise, though... [Comment from a bug triager] The crash looks like bug 226263, which was caused by a package version mismatch. Ensure that you have all the plasma related packages installed and updated (at the same version; which seems to be 4.4.4 in your system) - Additionally, try to update to KDE SC 4.4.5; 4.5.5 or 4.6.0 Regards After updating all QT packages, all KDE packages and all plasma packages, the system is back to normal, thank you!
