You are right, clipboard is shared from server to client in view-only mode. If I remember correctly, it's not shared the other way around in view-only mode. There is another report related to this: #170479. I do not understand your last paragraph: How can you paste in the remote desktop if you do have a view-only session? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 170479 *** I'm primarily using KRDC to supervise my kids while they are doing homework on another PC, because they tend to play online instead of doing their work. I can confirm that the shared clipboard does work in BOTH directions when in view-only mode; that's how I discovered the problem the first time. While testing, I had my kid do the remote paste after I'd done a copy on the local end. Conversely, I had my kid do a copy on the remote PC and then I did a paste on my local laptop. It definitely works in both directions, when it should not work at all.
