Version:           1.8.0 (using KDE 4.6.0)

Digikam has always lacked proper session management: It fails to start correctly when shut down and opened by the session manager.

With activities, digikam does not start with my photo activity although it was open when i closed that activity.

When shut down manually, digikam *will* remember where it was, so the code is present - it should just be run in the proper place.

Reproducible: Always




OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

I'm happy to bump this subject, with activities the problem becomes an even more obvious that it should be fixed - by you Marcel? ... ;-)
