Description Kevin Adler 2011-02-03 23:57:54 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

Xinerama setup:
Screen 1: 1600x1200 CRT right of screen 2
Screen 2: 1440x900 LVDS at 0,0

Panel is on screen 1.

Panel can only be extended to minimum of two screen widths (1440px in this case).

If I disable screen 2, I can the expand the panel to the full width and after re-enabling screen2, it stays at this width.

It should be possible to expand the panel to fit the full size of the current screen it is on.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create multiple monitor setup with one screen smaller than the other. On the larger screen create a panel and try to expand.

Actual Results:
The panel is the minimum of the two screen widths.

Expected Results:
The panel should be the full width of the current screen.

sounds a duplicate of bug 269231

I no longer see this issue with KDE 4.7.2. I'm not sure if it was fixed prior to that (perhaps in 4.7). Just noticed the other day that it was no longer an issue, so figured I should close the report.
