Not sure how this bug can still be UNCONFIRMED. It happens 100% of the time and is easy to reproduce. Still happening on 4.7.0 final. tap tap tap. Jon, I agree with you and confirm your findings. I can crash 100% of the time while using Application: konqueror (4.7.00 (4.7.0)) (using KHTML rendering engine) KDE Platform Version: 4.7.00 (4.7.0) Qt Version: 4.7.2 Operating System: Linux 2.6.38-11-generic-pae i686 (32bits) Distribution: Ubuntu 11.04 I can provide crash data, backtrace ([KCrash Handler]) if requested. ------------- Bug 280407 may be a DUPLICATE of this bug: it has the same description for starters. ------------- Jon, just one question please (a bit off-topic; sorry!). Do you have difficulties with displaying the Bookmarks toolbar? Thanks in advance, regards, Gérard Talbot *** Bug 280407 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 278884 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** See https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/102419/. I forgot to include a BUG: keyword in the commit message, but this was fixed for KDE 4.7.1 release. Hello, I just tried a few min. ago and this time I did *not* crash. After clearing history, after clearing cache and after disabling javascript debugger, I did Settings/Configure toolbars.../Main Konqueror toolbar I clicked the Defaults button and after accepting Dialog Reset, I did not crash. I am using Application: Konqueror 4.7.3 (using KHTML rendering engine) KDE Platform Version: 4.7.3 Qt Version: 4.7.4 Operating System: Linux 3.0.0-13-generic-pae i686 (32bits) Distribution: Kubuntu 11.10 oneiric here. regards, Gérard |
