I suspect a crash from Exiv2 library. Can you give me the version used in your computer with digiKam. Go to Help/Components Info for details.

this version is very old. Please update to last stable Exiv2 0.21

kipi-plugins 2.2.0 is out since few weeks. Crash still valid with this version ?
