Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2011-01-30 00:04:59 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

When hovering over Kopete‘s icon you get a list with all accounts, their names/mail-addys and their status “(online)”. But the account icon itself is always the generic account type icon. It should be the adapted icon that is shown in kopete‘s status bar as well i.e. grey for offline, with a clock for away, etc. Of course, the status is shown in brackets after the account but icons are more quickly recognizeable and the italic text makes it hard to read or track with your eyes.

Reproducible: Always

Bug 266895 is not exactly the same. I meant to show the protocols icons in the right click menu and this bug talks about showing the appropriate icons in the pop up screen that appears when hovering.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
