You should be able to do something like this : kstars --dump --filename backgound.png --width 1024 --height 764 (see kstars --help) BUT, I have tested : it works with the version installed with my distribution (Debian SID) and it crash with the trunk version. Also, there isn't options to set location, focus position or projection to use. Heym, ace- thanks for the reply. So the functionality was there, i just didnt know how to us it. Thanks. Turns out the developer of xplanetfx has acted on my sugestion and added the functionality to his programme. Thank you for showing me this though- may yet come in useful... Paul We should probably close this bug. Any reason not to? |
