Sorry but I didn't really understand the problem from your description: could you please try to explain this again? (In reply to comment #1) > Sorry but I didn't really understand the problem from your description: could > you please try to explain this again? Will try. Now, I'm logged in, working as usual. Brightness is set to about 80 %. I lock the screen and go away. Other user comes and in locked screen uses "switch user" -> "activate new session". He logs in (brightness is set to the same level in his session) do some work and logs out. Now system is back to my locked session. I move the mouse, so screensaver unlock dialog shows up so I can fill my password and unlock it. Unfortunately when unlock dialog shows up screen brightness is set to minimum and it does not change even after unlocking. I have to change it manually. Real scenario: I need to use my laptop remotely from work, but it uses encryption so when going to bed I suspend it. In the morning my gf wakes up laptop, switches user, starts new session and does some work. When I come back in the evening she logs off, systems goes to my locked session with brightness set to minimum. After I enter password I have to set brightness back to usable level *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 272917 *** |
