Version:           2.3.1 (using KDE 4.5.5) 
OS:                Linux

Opening a (word) document, kword renders some pages in the middle or bottom of the document blank. Trying to select data shows that they are there, but deselecting hides them again. I will attach the document (which also shows an image that is not correctly placed in the z-order).

The problem happens both with kword embedded in konqueror and with the kword application.

Reproducible: Always




OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.36-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

In koffice.git one issue that resembles your description has been fixed; it was the text turning into a transparent color.

You said you'd attach a document but there is no doc attached.
If you have a document to show this please attach it and reopen the task so I can check against master.

This document is a typical sample, here the 2nd page is usually invisible, but i can see the text when i select it, so it fits your descrition well.

Fixed in koffice master (in git)
