Sorts the list

Description drf5n 2001-05-30 14:40:44 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmenuedit
Version: 0.2 (using KDE 2.1.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.0
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-79)
OS: Linux 2.2.17-8smp i686
OS/Compiler notes:

The kicker menu sorts the menu in alphabetical order but the kmenueditor displays it in what seems to be unsorted form. This leads to a bit of confusion about whether menus are missing or that you are even using the right tool. kmenuedit should disply the menu to be editied in the form that it is displayed.

Thanks
Dave.

Sorts the list

Sorts the items alphabetically below the folders, as they are shown in KMenu

I agree with the wish.

Patches are not ok, the .menu files can define the sort order and that order should be followed by kmenuedit + kmenuedit should update .menu file

See 54919 for further status updates.
