Description Robert Simmons 2011-01-22 21:05:55 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.5)
OS: Linux

The most basic example of this would be an email account that you use more that one application to access. So, Bill's email is bill@foo.bar.com. He checks his mail at work through foo.bar.com's webmail using firefox (so he has kwallet on his memory stick with a kwallet addon for firefox). This creates one entry in the wallet. Then from home he uses Kmail and imap to get to his mail. This creates a whole different entry with exactly the same passsword. If Bill needs to change his password, he must remember to change it twice in kwallet.

There should be some way to link these two passwords inside kwallet so that one points to the other, or they both point to a third authoritative entry in kwallet.

Reproducible: Didn't try
