First of all, thank you for your feedback and for pointing me to that project I was not aware of. It seems pretty interesting. Concerning Kmobiletools (KMT), I currently am alone on the project and could not get new developers to join the team. However, my time too is very limited and I am currently focusing on OpenSync and my master thesis. Both are taking a lot of time and as long as I have no support for KMT I will not actively develop it. What I suggest: 1) put series60-engine on the TODO list. Even if it is quite easy to write a new engine, KMT still is not mature to handle all the features (even the Adressbook is not fully working). 2) invite you to join and have a look at the KMT sources, it is a lot of fun, I guarantee! 3) maybe consider to code a opensync plugin. I am currently doing my first plugin experiences with gnokii and gammu... Don't hesitate to contact me by email! Kind regards, Quentin I'd be really glad to help, but I haven't even learned c++ basics (yet):/ For an OpenSync plugin you would only need some Python basics! ;) Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. |
