If one starts a search (e.g. by mistake when slecting some facettes) solphin's status bar shows the search's progress and a cancel button. Clicking that button does not stop nepomuk though.

Nepomuk is dead and I can't reproduce with Baloo in KDE Frameworks 5.45.
