Description Daniel Mader 2011-01-18 19:03:34 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

I use Dolphin for file management and I like the navigation with the keyboard. Problem: after a rename task (F2) the status bar is stuck with the (pretty much useless) information that the file has been "successfully renamed." This won't update when I continue navigating with the keyboard (unless I change the folder), but only when I shift the mouse to another icon.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Use keyboard navigation, rename a file with F2. After move the cursor with the keyboard again.

Actual Results:
Status bar is stuck with the rename confirmation.

Expected Results:
It should fall back to "normal" operation when the cursor is shifted again, i.e. it should display information about the file/folder name and size.

Might be related to bug 193847.

The description is pretty much exactly the same. Very precise :)

So this is a duplicate, sorry!

No problem at all :-) Finding duplicates is not an easy task. I just remembered that I had read something similar some time ago.
