Note: Although KsCD is unable to play /dev/scd1, it does eject it when asked for it, paying no attention to /dev/cdrom which is empty. Workaround: { cdda-player; }. Requires a terminal window but works like a charm.
KSCD was quietly ejected about two years ago since it never was ported to KDE Frameworks or Qt5. I'm closing this as "sorry, this is never going to be fixed in a newer product." |
