Description Martin Koller 2011-01-11 12:38:29 UTC
Version: 0.5.81 (using KDE 4.5.95)
OS: Linux

In presentation mode of a PDF file, when I move the mouse to the top screen area, a kind of toolbar appears.
When I now move the mouse from the middle of the screen to the far left, where the "previous" button is shown, the toolbar is hidden when I reach the left border of the "next" button (that is: the mouse reaches the area where the page number is displayed).
As a result, I can not click onto the leftmost "previous" button, as it always disappears when the mouse is close to it.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
I want to be able to click on all buttons shown in the toolbar inpresentation mode.
The toolbar shall only disappear, when the mouse is outside (== below!) it again.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop
Compiler: gcc

openSuse 11.3

Works here. Can you try if using a different widget style fixes your problem?
Comment 2 Martin Koller 2011-01-13 08:43:34 UTC
I've found that the problem is the combination with a narrow plasma panel I have in the top left corner and defined to auto-hide.
Don't know if this is a bug or not.
It might be interesting that an application like okular or others used for some kind of presentation could switch off different things, e.g. I think the screensaver is already suspended during a presentation, but it should also be possible to suspend interaction with plasma panels in presentation/full-screen mode.

Most probably it is the same cause as bug #240804.

Agreed.
