Works here. Can you try if using a different widget style fixes your problem? I've found that the problem is the combination with a narrow plasma panel I have in the top left corner and defined to auto-hide. Don't know if this is a bug or not. It might be interesting that an application like okular or others used for some kind of presentation could switch off different things, e.g. I think the screensaver is already suspended during a presentation, but it should also be possible to suspend interaction with plasma panels in presentation/full-screen mode.
