Muon should have a list of ppa's and other important repositories which could be added easily. Ubuntu tweak has this. The list is partly very Ubuntu oriented, but it is a good start. May be the list could be shared. It pulls its lists from: http://ubuntu-tweak.com/source/

BTW: At the moment it is impossible to report a bug against muon-installer when calling "report bug" from it. Message: "Sorry, either the product muon-installer does not exist or you aren't authorized to enter a bug into it."

I'm not convinced, there's the risk our users will break their system doing this...
