Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

I would like to see a feature to create a slideshow, and then save it. This should generate some XML file or whatever. When I then launch Digikam (or Gwenview or any other kipi aware app), it should directly start the slideshow, without splash screen or whatever. Please note that the saved slideshow should also include audio.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
N/A

Actual Results:
Slideshow is one off, cannot be saved

Expected Results:
Launch a kipi app with something like:
'gwenview MySlideShow.xml'

afirm! would be a very useful feature:
similar to a "playlist" (like in amarok)

Many users are looking for a desktop-based slideshow software which does NOT create a DVD/movie. The kipi-plug-in "advanced slideshow" is just perfect for such a purpose, but as long as one can not save the created slideshows, it is virtually worthless. Please consider this as a small extension which would make the rest of the software a lot more useful! Thank you in advance!

Swaty,

A simple database relevant question here : can we store this tool settings as XML data into the database for each album ?
