s/Korganizer/Kontact A am also seeing this with KDEPIM 4.4.9 in KDE 4.6 RC2 (Fedora 14). I can however when composing a message use select to add an address, though selecting "all" only my "most recent" address's are shown. Same bug here... No contact and no events in korganizer... > AkonadiFuture::SerializerPluginAddressee::deserialize: Empty addressee object!
I can't reproduce with a KDE 4.6RC2 and kdepim 4.4.9 packages
Try that please,
Install and run akonadiconsole,
on the first tab, find the "Personal Contacts" resource in the list,
Right-click, Configure
Note the directory name (likely ~/.local/share/contacts/)
Now check whether there are files and folders in this directory.
Bug fixed here by archlinux maintainer. (In reply to comment #5) > Bug fixed here by archlinux maintainer. Right, fixed by rebuilding kdepim against kdepimlibs 4.6/akonadi 1.5 I experienced after installing KDE 4.6 that one of my addressbook resources - a vcf file in my owncloud server - was nulled out. I imported my backup file into the resource through kaddressbook. When I first installed KDE 4.6 there was a lot of problems due to soprano not being updated, and I believe those issues affects akonadi, I do not know if that has to do with it. And I can not be 100% sure that the file on the server was OK at the time of the update, as I did not check. But I have not had problems in the time I have kept the file in owncloud, since owncloud 1.1 release. When I first installed KDE 4.6, I could not get unline due to a problem with networking, having unknown causes. I sometimes feel unsure what will happen with remote akonadi resources when I start KDE where there is no internet connection, I actually would like to experiment a bit with that - or can you assure me that akonadi handles that situation well? |
