New crash information added by DrKonqi
kstars (1.6.0) on KDE Platform 4.5.5 (KDE 4.5.5) using Qt 4.7.0
- What I was doing when the application crashed: Kstars Telescope wizard port scan, Useing a Prolific PL2303 USB to Serial and Celestron Nexstar 8i late model GOTO mount.
Tryed Ports: ttyS0, ttyUSB0, ttyUSB1. no comms. OS Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit on Desktop SYS ASUS MB, and Ubuntu 10.10 32 bit on ASUS PC EEE 900HA web book same problem.
The 900HA ran the GOTO mount fine running WinXP with the PL2303 adapter.
Prolific web site offers no help other than to say Linux already has their drivers installed.
