Description Julien Narboux 2011-01-05 12:35:51 UTC
Version: 2.0.0
OS: Linux

It is difficult to see if the button to show/hide faces is pressed or not in preview view. It would be nice to change the icon of this button depending on if it is pressed or not.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Status is clearly visible with today's SVN. (GNOME, default digiKam theme)

Technically this would be very easy, KToggleAction has a setCheckedState() method for this purpose.
But we dont have any alternative icon. All these icons were not made on purpose for us: we browsed all KDE icons and selected any icon at least a bit resembling our intended metaphor.

The face icon status visibility is not a problem for me anymore (digiKam 2.9.0). Tried with KFaenza, GNOME, Oxygen icons and also with Krita dark and ligth theme.
