This may apply to more than KPackageKit, but that's where I encounter it.

When KPackageKit prompts for my password, it pops up a box with a "Select User" dropdown list, and it doesn't select the current user.  I have to choose it myself before I can type my password.  This is a regression from KDE 3.5 days.

This is odd. I never experienced this in Kubuntu 13.04 to 14.04, but now I am, after moving to Arch. Are you still seeing this, Adam?

This bug does not happen for me in Plasma 5.

Test system:
OS: KDE neon User Edition 64-bit
Plasma version: 5.14.4
Frameworks version: 5.52.0
Qt version: 5.11.2
