when starting the application I get the following errors: 
Could not find mime type "application/octet-stream"
No mime types installed. Check that shared-mime-info is installed, and that XDG_DATA_DIRS is not set, or includes /usr/share.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
start kmymoney

Actual Results:  
the application loads and most features work correctly. I am unable to add some accounts like my mortgage


OS: WindowsNT (i686) release Windows 7

This should be fixed in the latest installer.

To run the necessary post install process please try to reinstall a package with the latest installer.

I faced the same issue after installing stable-latest.
After updating to unstable-latest, it's working.
