Adding the above mentioned widget to the workspace and trying to save any configurational changes to the widget, crashes the workspace.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Hi,

Even though kde observatory isn't functional right now because of webservice unavailability I couldn't reproduce this error. I've tried it compiled in both KDE4.5.5/Qt4.7.1 and KDETrunk/Qt-copy and saving configuration changes just present the "Last update" message with no information (as explained before).

Could you please try again, if possible in KDE 4.5.5 ?

From bug 266958 (KDE SC 4.5.5):

(the kconfig setting involved in the crash seems to be "activityRangeType" )

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I added 'KDE Observatory' as a widget to the desktop and was looking at the
properties (right click -> properties).  I didn't change anything and simply
closed the dialog when the crash occurred.
