"2. do everything the right way (i think, it never worked until now)" i mean configure instead of do.. Mmmh... it looks like there's something wrong with the akonadi collection. Does KAddressBook sees your contacts fine? Can you access the resource with it? Basically, the problem from that output is that akunambol queries akonadi for the contact, and akonadi gives it a "dummy" object, instead of a real contact. So akonadi throws an exception and akunambol dies. yes, kaddressbook works fine.. there's also just the single vcard i have as a ressource.. This is very weird. Could you enable "debug" mode and send me via mail the resulting log (zipped)? It could contain minimal sensitive data (name) but could allow me to tell what is going wrong. Or maybe - wait, what version of kdepim and kdepimlibs are you using? <dumping the status to: needing updates> Hello!
