Description Kiril Vladimiroff 2010-12-28 00:15:39 UTC
Version: SVN trunk (KDE 4) (using KDE 4.5.90)
OS: Linux

I use KMail2 with my GMail account throught IMAP connection with disconnected mode enabled. When I try to check the Inbox folder(for example), most of the times I can't see the message list of all downloaded by now messages, until the current sync is not over.

This is quite annoying. I think is going to be much better if I receive my currently downloaded list with the option of reading my currently downloaded mails, instead of waiting one simple sync.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
0. Add a IMAP account with lots of folders and email on it
1. Wait (a lot) until kmail sync them all
2. On the next boot try to read some email in some folder

Actual Results:
Most of the times you get some "Loading folder contents" and can't access your already downloaded messages

Expected Results:
There should be listed the downloaded messages with some little notifications that more are being downloaded.

Endless retreiving

I'm just trying to read a mail received in 21.05.2010... 7 months ago, but I can't until the new messages are downloaded(in this case, there was not any new messages, but I had to wait few minutes).

This is quite annoying :)
