Description Dennis Schridde 2010-12-27 09:22:00 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

When KDE software crashes during logout/shutdown (which happens often in polkit-kde or kontact), KDE will wait infinitely long for the spawned DrKonqi. This prevents shutting down KDE from remote/console (in case one does not want to forcedly killing *everything* as happens with halt or pkill).

I propose that instead it should wait only a defined amount of time (but maybe still infinitely on debug systems/-DDEBUG) until it forcedly closes all applications.

Reproducible: Didn't try
