Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2010-12-27 01:20:15 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.90)
OS: Linux

(I did not know which module is responsible for power managment, so I assigned it to general kde bugs)

I had my notebook critical power warning set to 5%. Since the battery life is about 6 hours, I thought 1% would be sufficient. When battery was at 6% I changed the critical battery warning to 1% but still at 5% there was a message that critical battery fuelage is reached and the computer will hibernate in 30 seconds. I did not test if it really happens then, because maybe it shows this message but does not hibernate since I changed the value. But still it seems the changes are not applied immediately.

Reproducible: Didn't try
