Hi there

I'm thinking of stealing some code from the gnome-terminal and patching up konsole... but in case you guys are faster than me here's the idea anyway.

just so that you have the url underlined on-mouse over and a new right click option to open in $browser.

Just mark the url and you will get klipper to open a browser for you. No need
to move this into konsole IMHO.
