This is 100% reproducable. Any attempt to delete a single or multiple selected mails/messages will trigger deletion of _all_ messages in a mail folder. Yesterday I unsuspectingly tried this without reading the confirmation popup with the result that my inbox with 1500 messages seemed completely lost for several minutes (until I found them copied to the local trash folder). I consider this a critical bug (degrading a RC to alpha software). Could an automatic testcase for this be added to prevent a regression like this being released? Hello I cannot reproduce this bug. My Os is opensuse 11.3 and my kde environment is the following: kde-devel@linux-mzuw:~/kde/build/kdepim> kmail -v Qt: 4.7.1 KDE Development Platform: 4.5.90 (4.6 RC1) KMail: 2.0.89 Please can you provide us with a snapshot or a more detailed description about how to reproduce this bug? Hi, just checked again (to make hardcopies) - and hurray - the error does not occur any more. What I have I done: I have still OpenSuse / Kmail 2.0.89 / KDE 4.5.90! But this morning I changed the OpenSuse-repository to: KDE:Unstable:SC:kdepim46 / KDE_Distro_Factory_openSUSE_11.3 Kmail 4.5.90.git20101225-1.1; Dec, 25th Why: Just because Kmail 4.5.90 was not available any more in the current repo. Now: The Dialogue to delete "all" messages does not occur any more and only the marked mails are deleted. For me the bug is resolved. squan@web.de: Please double check with my hints and close the bug, if it works for you. Thanks and regards, Torsten closed, because works with current programs again. / Regards, To. |
