Description missive 2010-12-24 23:51:02 UTC
Version: 2.3.2 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

In the Local Music listing, I have the Sort Options set to "Artist/Year-Album" and all of the artist listings that start with "The" (ie "The Beatles", "The Cure", "The Doors") are all sorted and listed in the "T" (The) area, instead of being sorted under the next word in their names.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Add music to collection,
Look at Media Sources -> Local Music

Actual Results:
"The" artist names are sorted under "The"

Expected Results:
"The" names should sort under the next word in the name.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-24-generic
Compiler: cc

Could you please upgrade to a newer Amarok version and test again? Current is Amarok 2.4.0, Amarok 2.4.1 is to be released tomorrow.

Please report back.

In 2.4.0 all of the "The" names are still sorted under "The" instead of the 2nd word.
