I see a variation of this bug, even without changing filename to content: - Open the filenamesearch kio in Dolphin and search for 'foo' - Close the search - Now open it again, and it immediately lists all the files and folders in that directory (imagine that happening in /usr/share or a huge $HOME dir). This is with Dolphin 2.0.95 compiled from current (as of today) git HEAD. Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719 I use kubuntu 15.10 with KDE Applications 15.08, dolphin in version 4:15.08.2-0ubuntu1 and search doesn't work at all. When I press Ctrl+F, no matter what I type it doesn't find anything. Search was pretty rough prior to 16.x, but it's much better now. |
