Description Viranch Mehta 2010-12-22 08:49:32 UTC
Version:           unspecified (using Devel)
OS:                Linux

Scenario: Editable location bar is unset (set to false).

If user clicks on location bar (and it becomes editable) and he enters a URL and presses enter, the location bar should revert back to being non-editable.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Uncheck View->Location Bar->Editable Location.
Click on location bar and press enter.

Actual Results:
The location bar remains editable after pressing enter.

Expected Results:
The location bar should change back to non-editable after pressing enter. This, however, should not happen if location bar was set to editable in View->Location Bar->Editable Location already.

What can be done: The setting in View->Location Bar->Editable Location can be set as "permanently editable" and View->Location Bar->Replace Location can be set as "temporarily editable" so that after a navigation, the location bar can revert back to being non-editable.

Thanks for the suggestion. In the meantime also pressing Ctrl+Enter instead of Enter does the trick too :-)

Ok, I didn't know about Ctrl+Enter. It should be mentioned somewhere. Anyways, I guess this wish may not be needed now :) Thanks.
