Description Alexey Chernov 2010-12-18 21:55:40 UTC
Version: 4.1.60 (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

I think it would be good if the file is activated with just one click on its name in Projects dock. Now I should click it twice and single click just select the file. Maybe it's possible to select the file while opening it or switching to it in editor part if it's already opened.

Reproducible: Didn't try

if you want single click, enable that in systemsettings globally. Otherwise we follow the standard behavior.
Comment 2 Alexey Chernov 2010-12-20 08:54:38 UTC
What's the exact global option which you use as standard behavior? If it's "Single(Double)-click to open files and folders" then it's surely on Single click but in KDevelop it's still required to use double-click.

I think let it be unconfirmed while unclear.

ah I thought we follow the (expected) behavior here, apparently we don't - sorry. Your first report was unclear in that regard.

@others: Wasn't there another report about this one?
Comment 4 Alexey Chernov 2010-12-20 13:11:53 UTC
Well, yeah, I thought it's not connected to global settings at all. Thank you for accepting the report.
Comment 5 Aleix Pol 2012-01-18 01:40:42 UTC
It was made like that because we need to select the items in the projects view if we want to add them in the buildset. It's not something we can fix without rendering this same interface unusable.
