Description Gerold Jens Wucherpfennig 2010-12-18 06:58:17 UTC
Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS:                Linux

In GNOME at System->Preferences->Appearance->Customize->Pointer
I set the pointer size to large. Now I have a large 32x32 pointer
for the default pointer of Ubuntu (theme: DMZ-white) in every GNOME
application. This is not possible for KDE4, but it was for KDE3.
So now there is an inconsistency, because in GNOME the mouse cursor
is large and in KDE4 applications it is not.

Reproducible: Always

I have a high display resolution of 1920x1200 pixels
on my 17" notebook display, so I need a large mouse cursor.

On gnome-look.org and kde-look.org there are no good and large
mouse cursor themes so I need this GNOME and KDE3 setting.
