I've taken the liberty to reopen this bug report (and avoid a duplicate feature request) since: * the bug is quite old and marked "resolved intentional" long ago. * it's a feature that's commonly requested by Desktop Grid users. I could find 2 relatively recent (2021) posts at /r/kde asking for this and other improvements. * it has been recently by KDE devs that instead of re-implementing Desktop Grid and Present Windows features baked into the new Overview effect "modes", the plan eventually changed to preserve the separate effects, rather than having one mega effect.
