seems to work fine
Comment 2 Munzir Taha 2011-10-26 17:59:15 UTC
Which version is fixed in or which commit fixed it? I am using kword 2.3.3 in oneiric and the bug is still there. Also, I don't know why bug #243755 is rerepoted here with another number!

Thanks for your care

The copy of the bug was created wchen Calligra split away from KOffice. The bug is fixed in Calligra 2.4beta3.

Even though it's labeled a beta it's already many times better than KOffice 2.3.3

I just install calligraword from project neon
version: 2+git20111028+r72730-14~oneiric1
It seems the bug is solved by introducing another bug because previously when we type Arabic, the AlignmentFlag is set to AlignRight automatically, where now the text is aligned to the left. Please, open the bug till I confirm it's fixed ;)

Thanks. What you describe is another bug. So please open a new bug

Or you can do nothing because we are well aware that rtl bugs are in there and have plans to do a larger rtl bugfinding and solving mission within the next half a year or so. We will surely discover what you explained.

This particular bug however remains closed.
Comment 6 Munzir Taha 2011-10-30 17:42:55 UTC
Sorry but I thought you should consider this as a regression.
Comment 7 Camilla Boemann 2011-10-30 17:47:10 UTC
I do consider it a regression, but it still needs to be in another bug report, and we don't have manpower to do rtl issues for 2.4 release.

I assure you we take it seriuosly. I would very much welcome if you could create bug reports so we know what to deal with once we have time to look into rtl bugs.
