- What I was doing when the application crashed: I opened Kontact from avant-window-navigator whilst a VirtualBox XP machine was starting. The application crashed before the Kontact GUI appeared. 
This has happebnd a number of times when opening Kontact but I cannot be certain that I was opeing a VirtualBox machine on thos opccasions.
