Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2010-12-14 15:18:29 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

I just wanted to copy an E-Mail-Address whose owner has an Umlaut in his name (i.e. Martin Gräßlin). The name containing the umlaut is being replaced by an equal sign. But only the name itself, not the whole name tag. So the result was then Martin =. While another E-Mail owner “A. Schäfer” is completeley replaced by an equal sign (although his first name does not contain an Umlaut).
The E-Mail address itself (the part after the name in brackets) is not copied at all.

Reproducible: Always

Cannot reproduce with KMail2. If I paste "Martin Gräßlin <mgraesslin@domain.tld>" in the "to" field, the address is correctly pasted.
